What we do
At Carnation Day Care we provide day care for the elderly in West Berkshire, over 55+, alzheimer's and dementia.
- All Staff are DBS/CRB checked
- We collect and pick up clients if required and have taillift capabilities
- 6 hours a day day care
We have a lot of outside visitors, some of the entertainment / activities that we put on are:
- Chair based exercise programme every Wednesday
- Games: bingo, dominoes, memory, memorabilia
- Karaoke,
- Flower arranging
- Guide dog visits, Falconer
- Baking, Cupcake making
- Pamper day, hairdressers, nails
- Visits from the Museum
- Garden Centre / Retail Park for visits
- Craft & Craft Making
- Musical entertainment from professional performers
- Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy following on from the 14-week Beechcroft course
